Dr. Hisham Ahmed Arab, KSA
Dr. Hisham Arab is a King Saud University graduate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and completed his postgraduate training in obstetrics and Gynecology in Canada. After establishing 2 MFM units in Jeddah military hospitals, he launched his own private practice and became the Director of the Women and Fetal Health Program in Jeddah, specializing in maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and minimally invasive surgery. He was awarded twice for best research at the first International Congress of Perinatal Medicine in Tokyo, Japan in 1991 and the RCOG virtual world congress held in June 2021. He has published extensively on many topics related to women’s health including fetal well-being, diabetes, endometriosis, genital infection and hygiene, infertility, menopause, and covid-19 issues related to Ob/Gyn practice. More specifically, he is the leading author of 4 published Saudi Guidelines on Miscarriage, Anemia, Thrombosis, and intimate feminine hygiene. Dr Arab is a Founding Member and Former Secretary General of the Saudi Ob and Gyn Society, and currently the Vice President of the Saudi Society for Women Health, Chairman of the Arab Maternal-Fetal Medicine Expert Group, Chairman of the Saudi Endometriosis Group, and Visiting Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY, USA.
